Operating on the positive displacement principle, rotary gas meters accurately measure volumes of gaseous media, unaffected by installation variables. They are ideal for compact measuring systems without an inlet section and are approved for custody transfer applications.

The measurement procedure involves two rotating impellers mounted in a single housing, propelled by gas flow without touching. The gas volume is transferred to the outlet, defined by the cyclic volume. One rotation corresponds to a defined gas volume, with revolutions transferred to the mechanical index via gears and a magnetic coupler, allowing for precise adjustment.
