DESCRIPTION

The Q75 Turbine Gas Meters are the larger range of Quantometers that are manufactured by Honeywell. They work by measuring Gas through the internal Turbine Wheel which rotates in proportion to the volume of Gas that has flowed through the Meter. The Q75 Meters are supplied with a mechanical index as standard with 8 digits to display the volume reading. For reading the Q75 Meters remotely, a Low Frequency Pulse Output is supplied as standard.


The sizes of the Q75 Gas Meters are available between 200 and 600mm, all with a PN16 Flanged connection. Horizontal mounting is advised for these sizes of Meters for the best possible accuracy and reliability at their minimum flow rates. As with all Turbine Gas Meters, filtration is advised in order to protect the Turbine Wheel from being compromised by harmful particles and/or blockages. Top Hat Commissioning Filters are available to sit upstream of the Meter with an option of permanent Pad Filters available as well.


The Q75 Turbine Gas Meters have many different Flow Ranges available over the possible connection sizes. The large coverage of high flow rates and high pressures makes it possible to use these Meters where other models might not meet the requirements for large flow duties of Gas.
